Libby, Alex, and Jason attended the Driving Night to listen to other CHP officiers and other informational speakers like Dr. Sabet. They also were there to help with the booth.

Presentation with MasterDrive At San Clemente HS February 22nd, 2007

Libby, the club President, Alex, the Student Advisor, Chris Garcia, Sara Nofeliyan, and Jasmyn Grimaldi presented information on JourneySafe to Parents and their teens with a booth. This group has saw the Jill documentary with some added elements, along with Dr. Sabet's heart felt, moving powerpoint speech/talk which continues to grow everytime.

Libby, the club President and Alex, the Student Advisor, and Emily presented information on JourneySafe to Parents and their teens with a booth. First time a group has seen the finished Jill documentary along with Dr. Sabet's inspirational, moving powerpoint speech/talk.

Press Conference:December 14th, 2006

JSerra JourneySafe Home for the Holiday promotional press conference in the JSerra Catholic High School Field House. Teens signed contracts with thier parents to be safe while driving and walking through life.

CHP Presentation: December 13th, 2006

Libby, the club President and Alex, the Student Advisor presented the Home for the Holidays to a Teen and Parent Seminar at the San Juan Capistrano CHP Office following Dr. Sabet's inspirational, moving powerpoint speech.

1st JourneySafe Meeting: October 11th, 2006

JSerra debuted the new and first JourneySafe Club at the JSerra Club Faire! We had 52 students sign up! Thanks to all who signed up and helped make this happen! YAY!

May 16, 2006 at San Clemente City Hall at 7pm

On May 16, 2006 at the city honored to make JourneySafe Day on May 26,2006 by the request of the Sabet Family. This day is a marking of the 1 year anniversary of the May 26, 2005 accident that took our beloved friend, Jill Sabet. This day is in loving memory of our loving and caring friend, Jill Sabet. This day is devoted to the mission of saving teen lives through the education and programs in the community to direct awarness for teen in San Clemente and all of Orange County.

JourneySafe Walk-A-Thon 7am - Noon at San Clemente High School Athletic Fields

Words cannot begin to express the loving and caring life of our friend and classmate, Jill Sabet, nor how much we miss her at JSerra High School. Last May 26^th, on the evening after Jill had been elected our 2006-07 ASB President, she and her boyfriend, Jonathan Schulte, a Servite High School junior, lost their lives in an automobile crash.

On June 10^th, 2006, 400 people who knew Jill or her story participated in a walk-a-thon fundraiser to benefit deserving students in our community and to promote the goals of JourneySafe©, an outreach program of the Gillian Sabet Memorial Foundation. The primary purpose of JourneySafe is to help educate the public about driving safety issues among school-age drivers, and encourage teens to practice a buddy-system approach to auto safety that will help reduce driver distraction – the #1 cause of all teen automobile accident related fatalities, and encourage each other toward positive healthy life choices.
